US border must the easiest one to cross for a well prepaired terrorist or illegal immigrant and the hardest one for a leisure tourist or a legal migrant worker. Consider this: a terrorist black-listed by several agencies and reported dangerous to US embassy crossed the border with no obstacles and carries on the planned attack. At the same time, my not so young parents spend two hours in the immigration control in JFK airport because their passports expire in less then 6 months. Thousands cross the southern border illegally through the desert, but a programmer with a 100% legitimate H1B visa cannot leave the terminal for 4 days because one of the dozen forms that he submitted for his visa application (and that got accepted by the consulate) has an error.
